Mediation would be sought before proceeding to binding dispute resolution (arbitration or litigation - whichever checkbox is selected in A101). Within 30 days from the date of the initial decision, either party can demand the other party file for mediation within 60 days of the initial decision. What is the minimum spacing of bolts specified by AISC? and preferred spacing? 10 days for the Architect to ACT, but 30 days from the date of filing the claim before the Owner or Contractor can request Arbitration.
