As a tactile sign, braille would be included below this symbol. Where is the sign found and what wording do some building codes require to be included on the sign?


Answer = The symbol identifies exit stairwell locations and is posted at stairwell doors. Some codes require the word "exit" on the sign, others allow simply "stairs".
