Per IBC 3002, when is it necessary to display the "star of life" symbol and where is it displayed?




Answer: If a building is taller than 4 stories and has at least 1 elevator, the elevator must fit at least a 24x84 opened stretcher and be identified with the intl symbol for emergency medical services.
