Base bids

Base bids do not include:

A. bid price
B. bid bond
C. allowances
D. alternates


Answer: A. bid price is the amount of the bid, B. bid bond is a bid security to guarantee the successful bidder will enter into contract, D. alternates are not included. Included in base bid: C. allowances, amount can be adjusted later through change order.
