Elevator bank layouts

An office building has an elevator bank with 4 elevators where 2 cabs side-by-side are arranged opposite the other 2. Each of the elevators is 3500-pound capacity with an interior cab dimension of 6'8" x 5'4". What is the recommended corridor width at this group?
A. 8 feet
B. 9 feet
C. 11 feet
D. 12 feet

AnswerC. 11 feet. At 1.5-2 times the car depth (5'4), this could be a range, but 10 feet is a minimum for groups of 4 or more. Therefore C is the best choice.
