Which one of the following is NOT a basic category of roads used in configuring street hierarchy, an urban design method that considers the order of allowable connections between types of links?
A Collector streets, B Transit streets
C Arterial streets, D Local streets


Missing from this list is Expressways, which completes the basic road categories.
B., Transit streets, provide transit service and are often mixed with general traffic. However, unlike A, C and D, it is not one of the four basic categories of roads.
