When a single supply pipe brings hot water to plumbing fixtures in a building, water that has cooled in the pipes must be run thru until fresh hot water can replace it from the heat source to the fixture. How can this resulting delay for hot water can be solved?

AnswerBy connecting all fixtures that will use hot water with a supply and return pipe, a two-pipe circulating system relies on natural convection to maintain a slow circulation & replacement of heated water.
